Judging Criteria
The Academic Award recognises a woman in academia who is making an outstanding contribution to technology with lasting impact. Judges will assess the significance, originality, and influence of the nominee’s work, whether through research, teaching, innovation, or academic leadership. Consideration will be given to how technology has been developed, applied, or advanced to create meaningful outcomes, including technological breakthroughs or enhanced learning experiences. The nominee’s role in shaping future talent will also be important, particularly efforts to inspire, mentor, or widen participation in technology. Evidence of influence beyond the institution, such as industry collaboration, policy impact, or knowledge exchange, will be valued. This award celebrates academics whose work is driving progress and shaping the future of technology.
