Lisa Slade is a Managing Director at Accenture leading tech transformation in large-scale complex deliveries, with a team of 1000 Data and AI engineers. Lisa will be delivering the Key Note at the Awards Dinner, sharing insights from her 24 year career in Industry and consulting. Last year Lisa was the judge for Birmingham tech week, and on the panel. Accenture recognised Lisa with an award for the most inspirational leader and outstanding community impact, and she was also shortlisted for Bonhill Women of the year award. This year Lisa has been shortlisted for the Women in Tech Champion awards and has been announced as the winner of the Alteryx Maverick Excellence Award.

Within Accenture, Lisa is the executive sponsor for the apprentices. She had a challenging childhood, growing up in a deprived area with very limited opportunities. She worked incredibly hard, overcoming many obstacles and now is enabling others to succeed through her purpose “Regardless of background, you can be a hero of your own journey and empower others”. Lisa setup the Social Mobility Inclusion and Diversity Pillar for Accenture and wrote the strategy around three key themes: a sense of belonging, bold entry and betterment in community and society.
