Lalita Taylor

Lalita Taylor is a BBC Executive Producer and Hybrid Learning Events Director of a knowledge sharing project called BBC Academy Fusion.
She is a passionate advocate of gender balance and male allyship. In her role as co-chair of BBC staff network – WiSTEM – Lalita represents more than a thousand women in STEM. She works with her board to create opportunities to empower her members to be role models to attract talent to the BBC and create a pipeline of young people keen to start a career in STEM. Since becoming head of the network, Lalita has powered collaborations with equivalent staff Networks at Sky and News UK.
Lalita is founder of Southwick Media Consultancy which works with charities and non-profits to create award winning social impact campaigns.These include being a media partner with 40 mental health charities to deliver “UCanCope” – a multi award winning campaign for mental health.
Lalita is a Leadership Fellow at the Society of Leadership Fellows at Windsor Castle. She is a judge of the National Diversity Awards 2024; a member of the Advisory Board Council for World Woman Foundation; an advisory board member for Noon – a midlife women’s organisation for empowering “Queenagers” and a founding trustee for Fathers Development Foundation. She is both a BBC Young Reporter Ambassador and a BBC Centenary Ambassador. In her spare time, Lalita is a fitness fanatic and enjoys spending time with her two grown up kids.
